Create a minimum vector portrait from
----------------------------
This tutorial was helping on how to reflect a image , which helped reflect things when they would need to be on the other side of the drawing just reflected. This also showed me how to add texture such as curls within the hair, and using the crescent tool for color and shading. I wanted to est it out with not the file given to me but to find an image, and follow the tutorial lik that the best I could.

Methods for selecting artwork
---------------------------------------------------------
This showed me how to select similar content, but as well isolation mode and what its useful for. It also showed how to make multiple anchor points at once, wit that it was shown how to delete things from a certain isolation mode. This did help as I would get into isolation mode and get frustrated because it annoyed me, but now I see how it can be useful and make the process easier.

Shape basics
-----------------------------------
The first step in this process of the tutorial help show the basics of shapes and how they can be used, an recoloring them to make them seem clear. The second part it was showing how to use the line segment tool and how to bounce off it by drawing [art off a tree, and also showed how to move the lines and connecting the bottom to a line. The eye one helped show how to combine shapes and how they wok to create the end product, which was difficult in the sense in getting to know what each command does do.

get to know the drawing tools in illustrator
-----------------------------------------------------------
This tutorial helped show the basic tools such as the paint brush tool, blob brush tool, pencil tool, curvature tool, and pen tool. Which when first starting was easier to understand what could be done, and what all the tools have to offer.

Pen tool
------------------------------
The pen tool exercise was to first show us how to use the pen tool , and how to start working on it which started to basic shapes, difficult ones, and make our own lines to finish the final one at the bottom.
Personally I liked doing this, as the pen tool opened a huge door creative wise to add to my work and I saw a huge door of potential with it. |

Editing artwork basics
---------------------------------
The first step (image with boat but extra cloud added) was to learn how to transform with the selection tool, which the flower was originally there before it had to be shaped and resized to become that.
The second image was showing how to transform the shapes, such as the bird which was resized to be smaller and so was the boat n where it needed to be placed and the size. The third image with the fox showed how to align content, as everything was out of place so it had to be learned how to align it all and how to do it all. The fourth image showed how to use the scissor too and how it should be used , which let me understand fully how to actually use that tool as it was confusing on how it did work. |

How to use pen tool-------------------------------------------
This was just extra practice with the pen tool, though what made this different it did teach me how to make shape lines. But the purpose was how to use the on tool, and make curves with that makes the sharp edges.

Practice creating artwork with
--------------------------------------------------
More practice with the pen tool but with more difficult shapes, and turns which for beginners would give them a challenge which showed how to fill in completely which would be a nice reminder for someone on how to do that. This was just extra practice for me, which I caught on quick on how to use it but it never hurt to pratice more.

how to edit paths you draw---------------------------------------
This was useful with how to reshape with the anchor tools when the shape isn't how it should look, or adding to it. It also showed how to deleted and or edit the anchor points, which anchor points have confused me sometimes so this was very useful to get to know how to work them and how to put the knowledge into other work. This also showed me I could edit with the curvature tool, which knowing this information made all my projects go much faster then how they would have gone without this information.

--------------------------------------------
This was another exercise with the pen tool, but how well could we put this information into tracing an image and adding color to match it all.
I liked doing this gave me more time to practice on how to use pens tool and the new knowledge I learned from tutorials, and putting the curvature pen tool to good use. |

How to lock, group, and hide content-----------------------------------------------------------
This tutorial helped with showing how to group items together, but as well hide content to be able to make those selections instead of just going into isolation mode. Which locking content helped as well, if I still needed to see the objects in the background so I know where to put it all so locking it was just as useful, but along seeing outline mode helped to see where the placements are but just how the line art looks like.

How to transform artwork------------------------------------------
This showed me how to use the puppet tool which can shape and distort an object, but putting pins to keep them were you need them but also move them freely as well. This practice a lot introduced me to the perspective tool, which is what was used on the road and showing me the different tools in that bar. Which was useful in the future for using it to distort an object for prescriptive, or just needing to distort something.
